Keisha (kay-isha) Nzewi (en-zay-we) is a co-founder of Black Californians United for Early Care and Education, is the Vice President of the Mt. Diablo Unified School District Board, and is the Public Policy Director for California Child Care Resource & Referral Network. Keisha earned her BA in Social Welfare from UC Berkeley, where she played piccolo in the Cal Band. She earned her Master of Public Health from San Francisco State University, and has enjoyed a social justice driven career that began as a VISTA volunteer here in Sacramento. Keisha is mom to a new high schooler, and wife to a geologist.
