Hillary Khan is the Data Architect Manager at Catalyst California. She is responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines for the Research and Data Analysis team and the organization's server-side architecture through external vendor management. Additionally, she supports the Research and Data Analysis team by prototyping interactive visuals, building APIs, and automating workflows to free up capacity for the team. 

Prior to Catalyst California, Hillary worked as a research analyst at UN Women and as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Botswana. She also contributed to the Blue Witness app, a web tool that predicts and catalogs police use-of-force from tweets, for Human Rights First. 

Hillary received her master's in economics and political science from Fordham University and completed a data science program with Lambda School. She has a background in research and international community development and is passionate about bringing innovative solutions to provide reliable and efficient access to data for community-centered decision-making.
