Lori joined Catalyst California in September 2016 as a Staff Accountant. Now, as Senior Accountant, she performs all accounting work, including billing activities such as: accounts payable and accounts receivable, maintains and reviews general ledger transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness of journal entries and records, prepares and analyzes financial reports, balance sheet reconciliation, month-end close and year-end close. She also plays a lead role in the preparation for the year-end audit. In addition, she reviews and processes payroll. Lori also manages grants and contracts to ensure proper recording of revenues and expenses.

Prior to joining Catalyst California, Lori was an Accounting Consultant at Accountemps (A Robert Half Company). Her diverse clientele range from small-to-medium non-profits to privately held companies. During this time she was able to share her expertise in Grants and Contracts Accounting with various non-profits organizations such as Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA), where she worked as a Program Accountant/Auditor; Para Los Ninos where she worked on a Budget Audit Project; Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) as Post Award Analyst and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she assisted in the absence of Accounts Payable Supervisor.
